Pet Loss Support Meeting

Cherish the Memory, Cope with the Loss

Grief is the price we pay for the privilege of loving a pet.

Shakespeare Animal Fund is offering a once-a-month free service, a pet loss support meeting open to anyone who is mourning the loss of a pet, or wants to share how they handled the loss of a pet.

Meetings are open to all people who have a need or desire to share feelings, experiences, and wisdom about past, present, or anticipatory pet death and loss. Each support meeting will be a facilitated collective discussion.

This is a peer to-peer-group, not therapy. Everyone present is there to support others without judgment.

It will run for one hour, or as long as everyone has the opportunity to speak. No one is required to talk; however, it is an interactive forum for all present to share their stories.

Next meeting:  Tuesday, July 7 at 8:00 pm EST. You must register 24 hours before the meeting to receive the Zoom link.
