How it Works
Shakespeare Animal Fund can be contacted through our crisis hotline (775) 342-7040 or by email at email@example.com.
Once the SAF coordinator makes contact and determines the pet owner's eligibility, the pet owner is contacted and advised to select a veterinarian.
Once approved, SAF sends a letter to your vet detailing how much we will pay toward treatment. After the pet is seen, the owner signs a visit confirmation which is returned to SAF. We will pay your veterinarian directly to reduce your out of pocket costs.
We proudly serve Northern Nevada's 13 counties.
We help elderly, disabled and those whose total income does not exceed the current poverty guidelines.

Urinary tract infections
Upper respiratory infections/pneumonia
Straining to eliminate
Please Note: We do not pay for routine treatment, vaccinations, spay or neuter.

Do you have an estimated cost of the veterinary care?
Are you 65 years or older?
Are you receiving government disability?
Are you a veteran of the United States Military?
